As part of its continuing care program, Smith Crossing's Skilled Nursing Care is available to current Independent Living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer's and Memory Support residents. Since July 2010 we can admit directly other individuals who require skilled care. Residents and others admitted directly who may be experiencing declining health can rest assured that Smith Crossing offers the resources they require. Our Skilled Nursing Care services are Medicare certified. Rehabilitation Services Additionally, Smith Crossing provides professionally-staffed Rehabilitation Services in a fully-equipped room. Certified by both Medicare Part A and B, Rehab Services are available for all residents and others who require extra help during a short-term recovery from illness, surgery or injury. EHR System Smith Crossing's state-of-the-art electronic healthcare record system (EHR) in our Skilled Nursing Care Community provides instant, reliable access to medical records for physicians and our healthcare team. Having healthcare records stored electronically is very efficient, allowing our medical team to spend less time on paperwork and more time with residents and other individuals. |
